Expression and clinical significance of Clusterin, Livin and P53 in gastric cancer

Objective To study the expression of Clusterin,Livin and P53 in gastric cancer,and to investigate the clinical significance of Clusterin,Livin and P53 proteins expression.Methods Expression of Clusterin,Livin and P53 in 42 specimens and 30 normal tissue specimens of gastric cancer was determined by immunohistochemical staining.Results The positive rate of Clusterin,Livin and P53 was 71.4%,85.7% and 76.2%.The expression of Clusterin,Livin and P53 in the tis sue of gastric cancer was significantly higher than that in normal gastric tissue,the expression of Clusterin,Livin and P53 protein was associated with lymphatic metastasis,infiltration depth,degrees of differentiation and TNM staging(P 0.05).Clusterin,Livin protein expression compared in survival time 3 and ≥3 had statistical significance(P 0.05).Conclusion Clusterin,Livin and P53 protein play a critical role in tumor metastasis.Co-detection of the expression of Clusterin,Livin and P53 protein can be used to predict the metastatic potential of gastric cancer,and it provides clinical reference for the diagnosis and treatment of gastric cancer.
