PURPOSE: A device for preventing a water pipe from freezing and bursting is provided to prevent a water pipe from freezing in the winter by allowing water to flow inside the water pipe. CONSTITUTION: A device for preventing a water pipe from freezing and bursting comprises a cylindrical housing(10), a valve body(20), a moving member(40), a stopper(50), a tension control member(70), and a spring(60). The valve body is arranged inside the cylindrical housing. The moving member is arranged on the head part(24) of the valve body and has an opening and closing protrusion(42), multiple coupling protrusions(43), and a supply hole(44). The opening and closing protrusion corresponds to the hollow part(21) of the valve body. The stopper is coupled to the top end of the cylindrical housing. The tension control member is coupled to the stopper and controls the elasticity of the spring. The spring is arranged between the tension control member and the moving member.
