The treatment of head and neck malignancies by continuous intra-arterial infusion of methotrexate.

1962
Abstract Twenty-two cases of infusion with methotrexate have been reviewed. As one can see, the group is too small and too recent for any evaluation. Certainly in our surgical cases, the complication rate has been high. This may be lowered in the future. Palliation has been obtained in many patients. We believe this method has a definite place in the treatment of cancer of the head and neck.
