The invention provides a stroke increment type hybrid power drive device which comprises a first motor, a second motor, an engine, a first clutch, a second clutch, a battery and a gear mechanism. The three drive sources of the first motor, the second motor and the engine are connected in series. The first motor is connected with or separated from the second motor through the first clutch. The second motor is connected with or separated from the engine through the second clutch. The gear mechanism is connected with an output shaft between the first motor and the first clutch to be used for outputting power to wheels through a differential mechanism. The drive device has the following beneficial effects that an automobile is directly driven by the first motor via the gear mechanism, meanwhile the stroke increment function is achieved so that the automobile can be driven through pure electricity under most conditions, the problem that the automobile runtime is short due to the fact that an existing battery electric automobile is limited to the battery power density is solved, a traditional transmission device is omitted in structure, the structure is compact, and arrangement is convenient.
