Nuclear magnetic resonance and mass spectra of benzoselenopheno-[2,3-b]benzoselenophens

The n.m.r. and the mass spectra of 3,8-disubstituted benzoselenopheno[2,3-b]benzoselenophens (I) are consistent with the suggested structure. The n.m.r. data are discussed and compared with those of other heterocyclic compounds.
