Synthesis of tributyl citrate series plasticizers by using resin catalysts and the applications

Tributyl citrate(TBC) was synthesized by using resin catalyst supported bimetallic Lewis acid,and then was acetylated to synthesize acetyl tributyl citrate(ATBC),oleoyl tributyl citrate(OTBC) and octadecanoyl tributyl citrate(ETBC).The experimental results show that Catalyst KC124 has the best catalytic effect and activity.PVC samples filled with tributyl citrate series plasticizers have better mechanical properties and better low temperature resistance than those filled with plasticizers of octyl phthalate(DOP) and dioctyl adipate(DOA).Catalyst KC124 has long service life and good stability.
