An apparatus for starting an internal combustion engine

The invention relates to a device for starting an internal combustion engine. It has a battery connector, a starter motor and a valve disposed between the battery terminal and the starter motor switch module. The switch module contains a starting current relay, a main relay and a series resistor. The resistor is connected directly to the battery terminal.
