Some central actions of a potent muscarinic agent in lower vertebrates

1969
Abstract 1. 1. The centrally acting muscarinic agent oxotremorine has been administered to a variety of lower vertebrate species, premedicated with a quaternary atropinic agent. 2. 2. In contrast to mammalian species, tremor was not generally observed. 3. 3. Anti-nociceptive activity was seen in several species.
