Analysis of the Use of Antibacterials in Outpatients of Our Hospital

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the use of antibacterials in outpatient and emergency department and to evaluate the rationality of the use of antibacterials.METHODS: 3 650 prescriptions were randomly selected from outpatient emergency department in Oct. 2004 to Mar.2005,and the status quo of the use of antibacterials were investigated and analyzed.RESULTS CONCLUSION: The use of antibacterials in the outpatient emergency department of our hospital is rational on the whole,yet it needs to be improved further to ensure safe,economical,rational and effective clinical medication.
