The invention discloses an HPLC detection method of a 3-aminopiperidine isomer. The HPLC detection method of the 3-aminopiperidine isomer comprises the following steps: taking (R)-alpha-methyl-2-naphthaline acetylchloride as a derivatization reagent to carry out a rapid single derivatization reaction with 3-aminopiperidine, and then determining the excessive rate of the enantiomer of 3-aminopiperidine by using ordinary reversed phase HPLC-UV. The method is simple and rapid to operate, high in repeatability, high in sensitivity and easy in standard operation, and can be applied to separation detection and quality control of 3-aminopiperidine in industrial production.
