Applying Energy Correction Coefficients in Wind Energy Assessment

2017
Abstract The accurate estimation of the energy produced by a wind turbine under a particular location requires determination of energies based on calculations. This calculations are based on the average annual values of the main meteorological parameters and in particular on wind speed. These determined values were used to obtain various reports of various energy and energy correction coefficient. These values are used in the process of optimizing the energy balance. We conducted two types of comparative analysis between the different types of energy due namely: first, comparative analysis between energy monthly airflow, energy monthly Betz and energy monthly calculated with instant average speed and second, between energy monthly calculated with instant average speed, monthly energy speed calculated daily average speed and monthly energy calculated with monthly average speed. The originaliatea of this material consists in obtaining monthly, seasonal and annual energy correction coefficient determine on the monthly energy calculated with average multiannual speeds and monthly energy calculated with average multiannual instant speed. Monthly, seasonal and yearly energy correction coefficient determined from monthly energy calculated with monthly average speed and monthly energy calculated with average multiannual instant speeds. And monthly, seasonal and annual energy correction coefficient determined from monthly energy calculated from average multianual instantan speed and monthly energy Betz.
