Acoustical method of studying the growth and collapse of a vapor bubble in boiling

A new method is proposed for determining the characteristics of the dynamics of the vapor bubble volume variation from the parameters of the sound pulse generated by this bubble. The accuracy of the method is estimated, and its application is illustrated by a specific example.
