A solution is developed for the problem of transient multicomponent dispersion in time-variable fully developed laminar flow. A method valid for all values of time is employed, based on a generalization of a series expansion technique previously applied to the case of a single solute. A general dispersion model, involving a set of time-dependent matrices of coefficients, results as a consequence of the analysis.
