Apparatus and method for controlling auto display in a mobile station

An apparatus and a method for controlling auto display in a mobile terminal are provided to provide various additional service using dual LCD(Liquid Crystal Display), control auto display of the dual LCD, and provide simultaneously multiple additional service images in the mobile terminal, thereby improving the convenience of a user and the efficiency of the mobile terminal. A method for controlling auto display in a mobile terminal comprises the following steps of: determining an event when a predetermined event is caused(301); controlling an operation of an image display unit corresponding to user key input, if the event is determined a control operation of the image display unit by user key input(303); and sensing location movement of the mobile terminal when the event is determined a control operation of the image display unit by a sensor operation and controlling the image display unit(305).
