Метод кейсов в подготовке журналистов-международников

The article substantiates the necessity of using new educational technologies in the process of teaching journalistic disciplines. As one of them, the case method is considered, which allows to improve the competencies of students with maximum efficiency. The article analyzes the application of the method in the training of students who major in International Journalism, in particular, for mastering the algorithm of conducting an investigation, planning interviews and articles on economic topics. The features of the development of cases and the main sources for creating them are considered: media, websites and social networks, educational materials, as well as professional experience of experts.
