This publication bears witness to a “creative encounter” that took place in a rainforest on Vancouver Island in the summer of 1996, in which 16 artists created ephemeral works on site. Poulin considers his encounter with the Boreal Art/Nature group of artists in relation to his knowledge of the Hochuktlisat-h people and the Sacred Earth.
