Centrifugally cast roll and its production

PURPOSE: To provide a centrifugally cast roll combining wear resistance, crack resistance and toughness. CONSTITUTION: The centrifugally cast roll can be prepared by integrally bonding while fusing external layer material having a composition consisting of 1.0-3.5% C, ≤2.0% Si, ≤2.0% Mn, ≤12.0% Cr, ≤8.0% Mo, 3.0-10.0% V, 0.6-7.0% Nb and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities and a shaft core material of ductile cast iron having a composition consisting of 2.8-3.8% C, 2.0-3.0% Si, 0.3-1.0% Mn, ≤0.1% P, ≤0.04% S, 0.3-2.0% Ni, ≤1.5% Cr, ≤1.0% Mo, further one or more kinds selected from 0.02-0.40% Al, 0.02-0.50% Ti, and 0.02-0.60% Zr, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities.
