Composite bow-tie nano-antenna

This paper analyzes a multilayered bowtie nano-antenna, consisting of alternate layers of silica (SiO 2 ) and gold (Au). We show that the multi-layered structure can produce six times higher relative electric field enhancements than a purely gold bowtie antenna.
