Factors Influencing the Outcome of 34 Patients with COVID-19/ 新型冠状病毒肺炎患者34例转归影响因素

2020
Objective The characteristics of COVID-19 were analyzed in 34 cases, including the defervescence time, first negative time of SARS-CoV-2 PCR and the influencing factors of SARS-CoV-2 PCR positive again after discharge Methods A total of 34 patients with COVID-19 in Guangdong Second Provincial General Hospital from January 23, 2020 to March 3, 2020 were collected The clinical features, epidemiological history, laboratory testing, imaging examination and treatments of the patients were analyzed retrospectively And the correlation analysis of the defervescence time, first negative time of SARS-CoV-2 PCR, and PCR positive again after discharge and admission status were conducted Results All of 34 patients with COVID-19 had epidemic history in Wuhan or had close contact with confirmed patients The main clinical symptoms were fever(24/34)and respiratory symptoms(23/34), leucopenia in 7 cases, Neutropeniain 7 cases, imaging confirmed pneumonia in 21 cases 33 patients were included into the study Defervescence time was positively correlated with age First negative time of SARS-CoV-2 PCR was positively correlated with BMI index and white blood cell count 6 patients′ SARS-CoV-2 PCR of pharyngeal(anal)swabs specimen was positive again on the 7thdays of discharge from hospital SARS-CoV-2PCR positive again was positively correlated with fever degree and a negative correlation with pneumonia Conclusion For the confirmed patients who have reached the discharge standard, a review for the positive again after discharge at the time of admission to judge the possibility of recovery was suggested The follow-up time should be extended, samples from multiple parts for Sars-CoV-2 nucleic acid were detected, and quarantine should be lifted carefully
