Method for manipulating magnetic particles and device for manipulating magnetic particles

The particle-manipulating method of the present invention is characterized in allowing magnetic particles and a magnetic solid with a larger particle size than the magnetic particles to coexist in a liquid layer and moving the magnetic particles together with the magnetic solid in the liquid layer using manipulation of a magnetic field. In one embodiment of the present invention, in a container in which gelled medium layers and liquid layers are disposed alternately, the method comprises: a step for moving magnetic particles in a first liquid layer into a gelled medium using manipulation of a magnetic field; a step for moving the magnetic particles present in the gelled medium layer into a second liquid layer using manipulation of a magnetic field; and a step for moving the magnetic particles together with a magnetic solid in the second liquid layer.
