Intercomparison of Radiation Measurements for an Off-site Emergency in the Event of Guangdong Nuclear Power Station Accident

The intercomparison study between Guangdong and Hong Kong of radiation measurements for an off-site emergency is reported in this paper. Measurements were made of environmental penetrating radiation dose rate, environmental radiation accumulated dose and γ activity of radionuclides in water and food samples. Sample preparation technique, measuring method and results are presented, with some problems in need of further study raised.
