Transformations Catalytiques Des Hydrocarbures Aromatiques. I. Étude Thermodynamique du Processus de Disproportionation du Toluène

Toluene disproportionation based a chemical model by thermodynamic way was studied. The distribution of reaction products was calculated by computer (Felix C-256). Disproportionation of toluene was also carried out using NaY zeolites as catalysts, where the cation was exchanged with La3+, Ce3+, Co2+, Sr2+ ions and the composition of reaction mixture was determinated by gas chromatography. A good agreement between the conversions calculated by thermodynamic way and experimental data was noticed proving that the discussed model can be applied.
