The Analysis of Starch-iodine Value Detection on Cassava Products

The whole cassava flour(WCF),cassava flour(CF) and cassava starch(CS) are subjected to compare the reliability of detective methods for starch-iodine value under the different treatment. The results show that it's significant difference effects from sample quantity,bathing temperature and detective wavelength. While,they are showed the highest absorption peach at the wavelength range from 620~640 nm. The better detective method for three cassava primary products is recommend,that is based on 0.25 g sample quantity,70.0 ℃ bathing temperature and 640 nm detective wavelength.
