Effect evaluation of PPI triple therapy combined with traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of peptic ulcer caused by helicobacter pylori

2016
Objective To evaluate the effect of PPI triple therapy combined with traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of peptic ulcer caused by helicobacter pylori (Hp). Methods 106 patients with Hp-relative peptic ulcer in our hospital from October 2013 to October 2015 were divided into control group and observation group, 53 cases in each group. All patients were treated with PPI triple therapy, and observation group was given Kuiyangning tablets on the basis of PPI triple therapy. The therapeutic effect, Hp inhibition rate and adverse reactions were compared between two groups. Results The total effective rate, Hp inhibition rate of observation group were significantly higher than those of control group (94.34% vs.77.36%, 84.91% vs.64.15%; P<0.05). The therapeutic effect of endoscopic ulcer of observation group was significantly higher than that of control group (92.45% vs.73.59%, P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions of observation group was significantly lower that of control group (11.32% vs.30.19%, P<0.05). Conclusion PPI triple therapy combined with traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of Hp-relative peptic ulcer can significantly improve therapeutic effect and Hp inhibition rate, reduce adverse reactions, which is a safe and high-efficiency treatment method for Hp positive ulcers.
