Региональные особенности эпидемического процесса хронического гепатита с в крупном агропромышленном регионе (на примере Алтайского края)

The aim was to identify the characteristics of the epidemic process of chronic hepatitis С in the Altai region. The study revealed that the incidence of chronic hepatitis С (HGС) in the region tends to increase. Incidence among the urban population was significantly higher than that of rural residents, with mortality and outcomes HGС in these groups were not significantly different. There was a strong association found a direct incidence and prevalence HGС injecting drug use in urban and rural areas in its territory. All this shows a lack of diagnostic HGС in rural areas.
