Fractionation of rapidly-labelled nucleic acids from Rhodospirillum rubrum using polylysine kieselguhr column chromatography.

Abstract Poly- l -lysine kieselguhr column chromatography has been used to fractionate a rapidly labelled RNA fraction from Rhodospirillum rubrum . Labelled nucleic acid mixtures, prepared from R. rubrum grown anaerobically in the light, were fractionated on poly l -lysine kieselguhr columns. Preliminary results of this study are reported in this paper.
