Enhanced Ethernet Passive Optical Network (EPON) system with storage Optical Network Unit (ONU)

This paper presents an enhanced EPON with storage ONU, which can store video in local storage ONU through checking the logical link identifier. By sending video from local storage, EPON downstream bandwidth efficiency is improved.
