The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a call content between a first terminal and a second terminal; extracting a reply time from the call content, wherein the reply time is a time of making a reply to the second terminal mentioned by a user of the first terminal in a current call; and when timing starting from the end of the call reaches the reply time and the first terminal does not make any reply to the second terminal within a timing period, prompting the user to control the first terminal to make a reply to the second terminal. Through adoption of the reply prompting method and device, the first terminal can prompt the user to control the first terminal to make the reply to the second terminal, thereby solving the problem that the user forgets to make a reply to the second terminal within the reply time, and achieving the effect of enhancing the call integrity.
