Complication of Central Venous Catheterization

A retraction has been published: N Engl J Med 2007;356(10):1075. A man with Crohn's disease underwent an uncomplicated operation involving lysis of adhesions. A central venous catheter was placed through the left subclavian vein. Six months later he presented with posterior cervical pain.
