The Effects of Acid Regurgitation and Dyspepsia on the Treatment of Patients with laryngopharyngeal Reflux Disease (LPRD)

2009
The clinical effects of Rabeprazole on patients with laryngopharyngeal reflux disease (LPRD) were investigated by comparing the frequency of GERD symptoms (FSSG), laryngopharyngeal reflux symptom score (RSS), and objective laryngopharyngeal reflux finding score (RFS) before and after treatment. We found that the scores after treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment. These findings indicate that Rabeprazole is useful for the treatment of LPRD.
