The Efficiency of Adaptive Filters to Noise-Suppression Inside a Small Cavity

2020
Usually, the simulation demonstrates the efficiency of adaptive filters used for noise canceling. The output of the adaptive filter cancels the undesired fault signal to zero by calculation. The paper shows the real efficiency of adaptive filtration in the state where noise and anti-noise are transmitted to a small cavity and at the same time, the residual noise measures by a microphone inside the cavity. This measurement allows for evaluating the remaining sound pressure level. The paper will compare experimentally and analytically the efficiency of the used adaptive filter.
