Yield stress and strain-rate sensitivity of nickel over a wide temperature range

1983
The yield strength of annealed 205 nickel was determined over the temperature range 4 K to 1473 K. also determined was the constant-structure strain-rate sensitivity exponent, m. Values of m were determined over the same temperature range as the yield stress. The strain-rate sensitivity data are compared against the m values reported for other fcc metals.
