INTRACELLULAR CERULOPLASMIN (CP) IN NORMAL AND LEUKEMIC BLOOD LEUCOCYTES

Ceruloplasmin (CP) in peripheral leucocytes was determined by radioimmunoassay.It was observed that leucocytes of normal persons and leukemic patients contained CP. TheCP contents of polymorphonuclear cells (PMN) and blast cells of acute leukemia not in re-mission were both significantly higher than that of normal (P<0.05) and than that of acuteleukemia complete remission (P<0.05).
