The invention discloses a power battery cascade utilization detection assessment method. The power battery cascade utilization detection assessment method comprises following steps: (1) appearance screening of waste power batteries; (2) complementary energy detection; (3) self-discharge detection; (4) consistency detection. The power batteries can be the power battery packs, the power battery modules, or the power battery cells. The power battery cascade utilization detection assessment method is advantageous in that the rapid effective screening of the waste power batteries can be carried out, and by adopting the cooperation with the energy storage power grid, the recycling cascade utilization of the waste power batteries can be finally realized, and therefore the utilization safety performance can be improved, the maximum utilization rate of the power batteries can be realized, and the utilization costs of the energy storage batteries can be reduced.
