Standards for intelligent networks

Standards are key to the success of the telecommunications industry, particularly in the area of intelligence. This paper describes the work of the main standardisation bodies involved in creating the standards for intelligent networks, and BT's participation in such organisations as ETSI, Parlay, 3GPP and the Open Mobile Alliance.
