Provides a method of purifying 1,4-diaminobutane, purified by this method and the use of 1,4-diaminobutane polyamide preparation the 1,4-diaminobutane, 1,4-diamino-purified butane method comprising the steps of: concentrating the fermentation solution, the fermentation solution comprises at least one 1,4-diaminobutane and their salts; prepared by adding a base to the concentrated product of a fermentation solution having 12 or higher pH alkaline composition; and 1,4-diaminobutane collected from the alkaline composition.
