Test and analysis system research for arc welding process based on electrical signals and high-speed photography

An arc welding process measuring and analysis system is developed,aiming at the complic- ated and nonlinear characteristics of the arc welding process.It is composed of control software,detecting and optical devices,including sensors,a data acquisition card and a high-speed camera.The system can be used for electronic signals sampling,transient analysis,statistical analysis,synchronal high-speed photographing and image processing. The experiments of measuring and analyzing signals of the arc welding process are carded out.And the system is proved stable and efficient enough for monitoring,analyzing and evaluating the arc welding process.
