Application of Redox Mechanism in Studies on Body Constitution in Traditional Chinese Medicine

The redox balance embodys the thought of Yin-Yang Balance in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),and it is similar to the fundamentals of TCM constitution and three-level prevention idea based on TCM constitution.Studies on the diversity of redox mechanism will serve as a breakthrough for the classification of TCM constitution.On the one hand,detecting the redox state of different body constitutionwill disclose the scientific connotation of TCM constitution;on the other hand,it will provide some referential indicators for preventive treatment of diseases.
