Construction and application of mirror FTP server of NCBI databases

Objective To establish an FTP server that can quickly download up-to-date public biomedical databases from NCBI for internal researchers.Method This FTP service system was built using Linux,perl and shell.Result and Conclusion The functions of data downloading,updating and system management were achieved.The FTP server has been tested and is now working well online.
