Splicing technology-based compact type multi-disc tandem-connection solid laser

2012
The invention discloses a splicing technology-based compact type multi-disc tandem-connection solid laser which comprises a pump light source, a light collimator, a resonant cavity output unit and mores than two sets of multi-pump units which are assembled with one another in the manner of splicing, wherein each pump unit respectively comprises a first parabolic mirror and a second parabolic mirror, which are arranged along the incidence direction of pump light in a conjugating way, the two parabolic mirrors are respectively provided with a correction mirror and a disc laser crystal relative to the focal position of a counter party, and the skewing and the coupling of the pump light among the plurality of sets of pump units can be realized according to the angle between the two parabolic mirrors and the match of the size and the structure of the parabolic mirrors. According to the solid laser, the problem that each module can not completely absorb the pump light when the existing disc lasers are connected with one another in series can be solved, and the high-power and high-light beam quality laser output can be realized, so that the conversion efficiency of a system can be greatly improved.
