Response to the letter to the editor 'Variation in the temperature of local anaesthetic during spinal anaesthesia influences shivering in Caesarean section patients'.

We thank Khan et al for their interest in our recently published observational study. Khan et al highlight the role the temperature of the intrathecal injectate may play in the incidence of shivering in patients undergoing Caesarean section under spinal anaesthesia.
