SITIO WEB PARA LA DETERMINACIÓN DE LAS NECESIDADES DE SEMILLA, GRANOS Y HORTALIZAS SEGÚN CATEGORÍA

A Web site was made up, with the objective of guaranteeing the necessary information to create a stable and quality seed flow in crops, by means of using formal and informal production and management systems, so that self-sufficiency is reached in this activity as well as higher work integration between university and research institutions, producers and other local actors. This software gives the user different options through a single environment, among those standing out how to calculate the area and the necessary seed quantity to sow in a popular council of a municipality, guaranteeing the certified seed volumes required for the staples of garden beans, grains, vegetables and fruits. The access to the site can be done in any computer that has the Intranet of INCA. Results show a wider knowledge, quick information and error reduction. RESUMEN. Se elaboro un sitio Web, con el objetivo de garantizar la informacion necesaria para propiciar un flujo de semilla estable y de calidad en los cultivos, utilizando los sistemas formales e informales de produccion y manejo, de manera que se logre la autosuficiencia en dicha actividad y una mayor integracion del trabajo entre las instituciones universitarias, de investigacion, productores y otros actores locales. El software le ofrece al usuario diferentes opciones a traves de un entorno sencillo, entre las que se destacan calcular el area y la cantidad de semillas necesarias para sembrar en un consejo popular de un municipio, garantizando los volumenes de certificadas que se requieren en los renglones de hortalizas, granos, viandas y frutas. Se puede acceder al sitio a traves de cualquier compu- tadora que tenga la Intranet del INCA. Los resultados muestran un mayor conocimiento, rapidez de la informacion y disminucion de los errores.
