Optical absorption and energy transport in compact dendrimers with unsymmetrical branching

Abstract We investigate the linear optical absorption and the energy transport in compact dendrimers with unsymmetrical branching, using the Frenkel exciton concept. The electron–phonon interaction is taken into account by introducing a heat bath that interacts with the exciton in a stochastic manner.
