A STUDY OF LOAD BEARING PROPERTIES OF SFRC SLABS ON BASE LAYER

Test results on load bearing properties of full-scale slabs admixed with variable amounts of steel fiber on semi rigid type bases are presented in this paper. It is proved that there exists a relationship between actual load bearing strength of slabs and test strength of concrete conventionally. Considering the test of load bearing capacities and fatigue properties of slabs, this paper gives out a fatigue formula of steel fibre reinforced concrete (SFRC) based on flexure strength, axle-load acting number and steel fiber content. The formula can be applied to forecast and guide the engineering practice of SFRC, which is shown in a calculation example. For the covering abstract of the proceedings, see IRRD 490713.
