The invention relates to a method for producing a printing stencil for the technical screen printing, in which a thin-walled high-strength sheet metal blank (10) on a flat supporting plate (3) is clamped, cut-outs are cut out in accurate positioning by means of the laser beam in predetermined areas of the sheet bar, as well as templates in their desired shape are cut out from the sheet metal blank by means of laser beam and, if necessary, subjected to a surface of a fine machining, in selected areas, at least one side of the plane spanned sheet bar (10) depressions (20, 21; 29, 30) are made by high-speed milling.
