Effect of Puerarin on Blood Lipid of Exercise Training Rats

Objective To observe the effect of puerarin on blood lipid of exercise training rats.Methods SD rats were divided in- to four groups:control,exercise,puerarin,exercise and puerarin.The contents of total Cholesterol (TC),triglyceride (TG),high density lipopretein(HDL),low density lipopretein (LDL) and very low density lipoprotein(VLDL) in blood were determined and analyzed.Results Compared with control、exercise group,the contents of TC and TG decreased evidently in puerarin,exercise and puerarin groups.Compared with control group,the contents of HDL increased evidently in exercise and puerarin groups.Compared with control,solvent group,the contents of LDL,VLDL decreased evidently in exercise and puerarin groups.Conclusion Puerarin can decrease the contents of TC,TG and LDL,VLDL evidently,and can increase the content of HDL evidently in blood of exercise training rats.
