Characterization of Prostate Cancer with Gleason Score of at Least 7 by Using Quantitative Multiparametric MR Imaging: Validation of a Computer-aided Diagnosis System in Patients Referred for Prostate Biopsy

In a population of 129 patients referred for prostate biopsy after multiparametric MR imaging, the computer-aided diagnosis system outperformed the prospectively assigned Likert score in characterizing cancers with a Gleason score of at least 7 among MR lesions targeted at biopsy, showing better specificity and positive predictive value.
