Salt-polymer complexes: strong or weak electrolytes?

1996
Abstract For salt-polymer complexes above their glass transition temperature, ionic conductivity data follow a V.T.F. behaviour σ · T = A exp ( − B R(T − T 0 ) . Parameters A, B and T 0 are calculated from experimental data. A and B give lower values than those estimated assuming a complete salt dissociation and a free volume migration mechanism. A better agreement with experimental data is found assuming a weak electrolyte behaviour of the salt-polymer complexes.
