The use of the Matlab&Simulink environment to solve problems of synthesis of automatic control systems in the joint laboratory of the KNRTU and “Yokogawa” company

At the Department of «Automation and process control» of the Kazan National Research Technological University (the KNRTU) a laboratory stand for the study of heat metering devices and automated energy saving systems was developed and put into operation for the preparation of masters of Science specializing in 15.04.04 «The automation of technological processes and production». The automated system of measuring information processing and control of the laboratory bench is implemented on the basis of the controller of the distributed system Centum VP of the Yokogawa Company. The interactive environment MatlabS synthesis of the controller using logarithmic frequency characteristics; synthesis of the controller by spectral method; optimization of control systems with PID controller and others.
