Multipurpose seismic data acquisition system configured at N.G.R.I

This paper endeavours to explain the choice of seismic recording system even when faced with divergent aims and objectives. A field technique for extending the range of remote firing by using relay station(s) in DSS/Lithospheric studies has been discussed in detail. All the other modifications implemented for adopting the system (DFS-V) have also been mentioned. The use of twin effective, rugged and better alternative is clearly demonstrated.
